Fully Insured Removals

If we pack and deliver your items, they’re fully covered by our insurance. If you prefer to do your own packing, we’ll still treat your items with care – but we can’t be responsible for breakages due to packing errors.

Throughout a move from the leafy Surrey/Hampshire border to Preston and views of the White Horse, Knights were amazing. A massive thank you goes to Matt, Colin and Steve for their travelling up and down the A31.

Packing

You can do the packing, or leave it to us. We offer a full packing service using sturdy materials and a methodical approach. If you’re packing yourself, we’re happy to offer tips and supply materials to help you do it right.

We can supply:

  • Strong cardboard boxes
  • Fragile and packing tape
  • Bubble wrap

What to Expect
Packing tips:
  • Boxes should be a one-person lift. If you can’t lift it, neither can we.
  • Use strong boxes and secure tape.
  • Seal and label everything clearly.
  • Don’t leave gaps – fill empty spaces with towels or paper to stop things shifting.
  • Wrap breakables individually using bubble wrap, paper or soft clothing.
  • Pack by room to make unpacking easier.
  • Put heavier items at the bottom of each box.
  • Don’t overfill – bulging boxes are hard to stack and more likely to get damaged.
  • Use suitcase space for heavier items like books.
  • Keep valuables, documents, and essentials with you – not in the van.
